Role based access - only view

As we researched, the "View" function will only work with PDF files, the MS office formats will still be viewed in old way

They are using Google viewer tool, it's was build in Edocman for many years, i'm not surprised that an extension uses Edocman's ideas.
We want to build new additional view function for Edocman which allow customers to read content of PDF files directly instead of opening Google viewer. And with new tool, they just can view content of PDF files, but not to download files like through Google Viewer.

Edocman 1.19.5 has just been released with PDF Viewer plugin, this plugin has feature to allow user to view content of documents but not download them

Hi Dam, i have checked 1.19.5 version, inside pdf preview window there is icon displayed to download even if we restricted, please check. and i want to have same features for .doc & . Docx file ( only view and download restriction)

The PDF viewer tool of Edocman can only be used to "view" PDF files content, it's impossible to show content of .doc or .docx file
