I can't get this plug in to install. I am trying to install it in Joomla! 2.5.24 but I keep getting an error. Is this plugin made to use with this version of Joomla?
Edit: Never mind I installed it using Install from URL and it worked.

Great. Thanks for the update. I think the reason of the error is because the file is big and maybe your server doesn't allow it to be uploaded, that's why you can install it using Install from URL option

I am also having difficulty getting the plugin to index pdf and doc files. It handles the titles just fine.
Platform is FreeBSD 10.0 and I have full access to the server.
I cannot produce any errors; there are just zero documents returned when searched. Please help!
Thanks,
-Roy

Hi Roy
The extension rely on a library to index the document, maybe it could not be run on your server. Could you please submit a support ticket sending me admin and FTP account so that I can try to check it directly on your site ?

It might be easier if you could just tell me the indexing libraries it relies on for both pdf and doc(s) files. They may be called something different in FreeBSD and sometimes take awhile to track down. The site also is not public facing as it is only for internal usage and I would have to mess with the firewall to get you access.
Thanks,
-Roy
