Download IDs are identifiers that allow you to upgrade new versions of extensions directly from the Joomla Backend. You can create as many Download IDs as you need without any limitation.

In your case, you can generate multiple Download IDs and enter them in the configuration section of Edocman. Please make sure that the plugin "Edocman Installer" is published (please send the screenshot to confirm). Once this is done, you will be able to upgrade Edocman from the Backend.

As we have mentioned before, if you are unable to upgrade the extension from the Backend, you can still go to the "My Downloads" section at the top of our site to download the latest version of the extension—unless your subscription has expired.

i have tried to do what you said but maybe the problem is elsewhere do you that the version 5.4 has a bug on the update that will be corrected with the 5.4.1 ? j say that update is needed and it is not

There is no known issue with updating the extension in Joomla 5.4. The update process should work normally with this version.
