major bugfixing and some customizations needed

Hi

Due to high workload in the last two weeks, I haven't had time to work on these isues yet (they are not major bugs) . I completed all other works now and will come back to these issues. You can expect it all to be fixed lately by the end of next week (should be sometime middle next week) .

ok, i tried the latest version...

+ the document count is fixed
- the empty subcategories are shown even when it is switched off in the backend

- the column view isn´t working any more
- the field "First Name" can´t be switched off for the checkout process.

all other bugs are still there...

so one bug fixed but 3 new appeared. not even close to be satisfying. no offense m8 but are you serious about this product? - i mean it´s great but it´s so buggy tht it is almost unusable and for sure not usable in a stable professional environment.

i don´t know what to do with you. i paid for the extension. i made a report and requested support. i begged. i requested my money back. i offered more money... nothing worked. as i have no clue anymore what to with you pls tell me yourself! what do i have to do to make you fixing the bugs of this extension so i can use it?

@vvolf69 : Please be friendly . Yes, I just fixed the category counting, (and the issue with language item) feature and some other small improvements (code optimization only) . Here are some of my comments :

1. the column view isn´t working any more

=> It works !

2. the field "First Name" can´t be switched off for the checkout process

=> It is not a bug. The system is designed to work like that. First Name (and email field) are two required fields and they cannot be removed in checkout process .

I will continue working on other items which are bugs (and some other improvements). However, I cannot assure that I will work on all items you reported here, only bugs will be fixed !

Could you please make sure you set Category Layout property of this category to Columns ? Just checked again here and it works fine !

Update : Fixed 3 more issues :

1. Jomsocial integration is now working fine .

2. The comment for order is now working fine .

3. Added a new config option (Thanks you message for Offline payment) . Now the order complete page will display different messages base on the payment method users choose (online or offline payment) .

Will work on the other items and some other improvement during the weekend !

now your extension is almost usable. i say almost because there is one bug left which is a show stopper to me. the download limit...

i sell customizations for online poker clients and i have trouble with account sharing . however the possibility for my users to download more than one time is needed cause i need to spread updates to my users. so far i handle it by limiting the downloads to a specific number. if the count runs to zero i review the account and credit more downloads or in case of abuse i ban the account. so i need definitely a working download limit. thx in advance!

i´m going to resend you the money now and when you have fixed the download limit i´m going to buy some additional payment gateway plugins.

Great, thanks ! Please trust me, I am a hard-working developer, just too busy these days . The download count feature will be fixed this week for sure (maybe I will spend time to work on it on tomorrow) . Not only bugs fixing but also other new features will be available on the new release, just please be patient and wait for me !

I've got the same jomsocial integration problem on my site. I'm using event booking and it's a great event except i can't figure out why it doesnt get integrated with jomsocial... Anyway, i cant find a first and last name in jomsocial registration page. would like any help.... my email id.. raj.suraj@gmail.com.

Hi Suraj

Jomsocial doesn't have First Name and Last Name fields by default, so you will have to create these custom fields in Jomsocial. After that, please map these fields with the first name and last name in Event Booking and everything will work fine .
