Paypal Standard is US dollars and needs to be AUS

I have just done a live test transaction with Paypal standard. The transaction went through and processed as USD. I need this to be AUS dollars. I contacted Paypal and they said it was the site (Paypal Plugin) that requested the transaction process as USD. How to I change this to AUS dollars? I was hoping to make my site live today, this is currently holding the process up.
I have checked the Paypal plugin and the Geo Zone is set to the zone I setup "AUS GST Zone"
In configuration/local the information is as follows:
Country: Australia
Region / State: Queensland
Default Currency: AUS Dollar
Auto Update Currency: Yes
Length: Centimeter
Weight: Kilogram

Geo Zone Details:
AUS GST Zone
Country: Australia
Zone: All Zones

What do I need to do to get the site processing paypal payments as $AUS?

Any update on this? I need to get the checkout working.

Does the Paypal Standard payment plugin work in Australia? I need Aus dollar not US dollar. I wanted this site to go live on Monday, its now Wednesday.

At this point, I have changed the following two lines in the os_paypal.php file and it hasn't made any difference, still sending through to Paypal as USD.

$this->setData('lc', 'AU');
$this->setData('currency_code', $params->get('paypal_currency', 'AUD'));

Further to the above changes, I have also cleared my browsers cache and logged into the web host and cleared the host cache also. Still sending through to Paypal as USD not AUD.

That because you entered wrong currency code for Australian Currency. It should be AUD, not AUS. Please continue to following up the ticket to get my supports there.
