[07-July-2026] EShop version 5.5.0 released

Dear customers!

I am happy to announce the next release of EShop Shopping Cart version 5.5.0! This release contains below improvements/changes:

1. Converted All Modules to Modern Services Dispatcher Structure.

All EShop Modules are converted to modern services dispatcher structure in this release. This is to make sure the extension follow Joomla best practices and continue working well with future releases of Joomla.

The old legacy strucuture was completely removed.

2. Converted All Plugins To Modern Services Provider Structure.

All EShop Plugins are converted to modern services provider structure in this release. This is to make sure the extension follow Joomla best practices and continue working well with future releases of Joomla.

The old legacy strucuture was completely removed.


3. Added Shipping Label feature.

From this version of EShop, there is a new feature called Shipping Label for each order is added. Once it is enable from the configuration, then a PDF of Shipping Label which includes store information and customer shipping address. Shipping Label will be really useful for admin's store to ship the order products to customers.

4. Added Packing List feature.

From this version of EShop, there is also a new feature called Packing List for each order is added. Once it is enable from the configuration, then a PDF of Packing List which includes store information and products list of order. Packing List will be really useful for admin's store to prepare the order products before ship them to customers.

5. Shipping Plugins Improvement.

Added Max Total, Max Quantity and Max Weight settings to all shipping plugins to have more available conditions for shipping plugins.

6. Invoice Improvement.

The invoice number is only identified when invoice is available now.


7. Support New Payment Gateway.

Added EShop Worldline Hosted Checkout payment plugin to allow using  Worldline Global  and  ANZ Worldline  payment gateways to receive payment in EShop.

8. Quote Cart Mode Improvement.

Added "Only for Guests" setting option for Quote Cart Mode.

9. Some other fixes / improvements:

- Added Quantity Box setting per product level.
- Fixed issue of Quickview link.
- Fixed issue of Change Quantiy in Slider layout of module.
- Fixed issue of translated language at Checkout.
- Replace all JText by Text to make sure EShop is fully compatible with future releases of Joomla.

Thanks, however I am seeing issues related to adding items to the Cart.

They seem to be added but when I go to the Shopping Cart or Checkout the items are missing.

Occasionally I find a product in the shopping cart.

If I see items in the cart then select Checkout then none of the products show and the checkout fails.

Is anyone else seeing this behaviour?

I went to your site to check but I didn't see the issue as you said. The latest version does not have improved items related to cart and checkout. I think it maybe the cache on your site. Please continue to following up the ticket to get my supports there.
