EShop version 3.9.2 released

Dear Customers,

Today, I am happy to announce the next release of EShop Shopping Cart extension, version 3.9.2 with the following great new features / improvements:

1. Source code Improvements.

Whole of source code of the EShop extension (component, modules and plugins) were reviewed to optimize to make the extension run better, faster and more secure. So this is a good improvement on performance and security of the extension.

2. Update TCPDF library.

From this version, we updated TCPDF libary to the latest version 6.6.2 to have it work better in downloading product data to PDF and generating Order Invoice PDF.

3. EShop Products Filter module Improvements.

- Add Show more / Show less option to each elements (categories, manufacturers, attributes, options). This is really useful if you have too many elements on the filter module. Customers have the option to view more / less as they want.
- Filter products by SKU of option values.

4. EShop Manufacturer module Improvements.

- Change to use better slider library to display manufacturers.
- Fully responsive and more flexible configuration options.

5. EShop Category module Improvements.

- Add new Slider layout of categories. So you can display the categories as a tree menu, as grid and slider now.
- Improve the source code of module.
- Corrected the language file.

6. Back-end layouts Improvement.

- Admin can select which columns to view on all of manager section of items (categories, manufacturers, products, orders, etc.)

7. Add new EShop Payrexx payment plugin.

- This plugin allows customer to use Payrexx ( payrexx.com/ ) payment gateway for processing payment in EShop.

8. Some other bug fixes / improvements:

- Google Analytics 4 issue fix to display correct amount values.
- Display the original image if there is no image of selected option value.
- Option to show product stock information on products list.
- Fix the issue of view list: Adjust the limitStart state property.
- Load bootstrap 5 on Joomla 4+ by default.

So please upgrade EShop to the latest version 3.9.2 to have these new features and improvements.

Great to see a new update but what happened to the captcha plugin that was going to be included?

Thank you for submitting the ticket here. Regarding your question: Actually, Joomla 5 completed removed reCaptcha and invisibleCaptcha from the system.

We are considering to include our captcha plugin into the package to use it on the our extension. We also need to check more to find a good captcha plugin to suggest to our customers soon.

The recaptcha plugin in Joomla 4 works all good in Joomla 5. So, see if you can include that.
