[18 - August - 2021] EShop version 3.5.0 released - Hello Joomla! 4

Dear Customers,

Today, I am happy to announce the next release of EShop Shopping Cart extension, version 3.5.0 with the following changes:

1. Fully compatible with Joomla 4

This is the main afford of this release. As you maybe knew, Joomla 4.0 stable was just released yesterday and with this release of EShop, I'm happy to confirm that EShop is fully compatible with Joomla 4, both in terms of functionality and UI.

2. Payment plugins updated.

This version of EShop also includes updates of EShop Stripe payment plugin and EShop Sagepay payment plugin.
- EShop Stripe: Add the Stripe Element feature.
- EShop Sagepay: Fix the issue with Shipping Address data to post to Sagepay.

So if you are using EShop Stripe and EShop Sagepay payment plugins in EShop, please update EShop to the latest version as well as download and update these payment plugins to have them work properly.

3. Some other fixes/improvements:

- Fix a small issue of AusPost - Postage Assesment Calculator payment plugin.
- Improve layout of Orders Report.
- Improve layout of Categories Manager to display category image on the list.
+ Improve layout of Manufacturers Manager to display manufacturer image on the list.

Please update your site to this updated version of EShop to use these improvements. In the case you want to build a new website with Joomla, you should use Joomla 4 because it is much better than Joomla 3. And you know, EShop is already compatible with Joomla 4 now.

Today, I released new version 3.5.1 of EShop Shopping Cart extension which includes almost of small fixes for Joomla 4.

1. Fix the issue of Captcha.
2. Fix the issue of Product Options Price in the Quote Mode.
3. Fix the issue when product fields enabled.
4. Fix the issue with Association Menus in multilingual sites.
5. Fix the issue with start date, end date data of Product Discount, Product Special, Coupon, Voucher.
6. Fix the issue with price display in products list and product details pages.
7. Update the UPS shipping plugin to have it work properly in both of Test mode and Live mode.
8. Google Feed products export improve: Add alias field.

So please upgrade EShop to the latest version 3.5.1 to have these fixed items.

I have the version 3.5.1 and I can't see the product custom fields (or extra information).
I have enabled the option "Product Custom Fields" in the configuration.
Of course, I have added values to one product.

Can you please go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> Product Fields tab to check if you defined the fields for products properly or not?

Yes, it is the typical xml code and I have added one more field using the following line:
<field name="field_color" type="text" label="Color" size="50" description="The color of the product."></field>
