Today, I am happy to announce the next release of EShop Shopping Cart extension, version 3.3.3 with some great new features and improvements:
1. Add EShop Detect Currency plugin.
This is a new system plugin which allows your system detects the customer's country and set the currency according the detected country automatically. So by enabling this plugin, you don't need to use EShop Currency module anymore. Customers must not also choose to active their currency manually. This plugin is really useful when your store has multiple currencies.
2. Exports Function Improvements.
From version 3.3.3, there are some more configuration options to be added to Products Export:
- Select Categories: So you can choose some specific categories to export products instead of exporting products from all categories by default as before.
- Select Product Status: You can choose to export all/published/unpublished products.
- Select Product Fields: You can choose fields of product that you want to export instead of exporting all of fields by default as before.
- Specially, you can choose number of products to export if you want.
3. Product Options Improvement.
From version 3.3.3, when you assign each option value (with type is Select, Radio or Checkbox) to a product, you can set the Require Shipping for it to Yes or No. This takes effect to the shipping options when an option value is purchased.
This is very useful when you sell a product with 2 types: Physical and Downloadable. You should set Require Shipping to Yes for Physical and No for Downloadable, then the shipping option will work as you want.
4. Checkout Improvement.
Add configuration option for comment field: Show all / Only Step 4 / Only Step 5 / Hide so you can choose to have the comment field at the checkout as you want.
5. Add more payment plugins.
- Add EShop Saferpay Json payment plugin
- Add EShop Coin payment plugin
- Update EShop Braintree payment plugin
6. More improvements / issues fix.
- Products Batch Process improvement: Ability to process the Product Shipping Geo Zones field.
- Fix the issue: Display the zones on select list in the alphabetically.
- French language package update.
