EShop version 3.3.1 released

Dear all,

We have had a very hard and terrible time caused by Covid 19. I hope that you and your family are all good. I believe that we will pass it soon and everything will come back as normal.

Today, I am happy to announce the next release of EShop Shopping Cart extension, version 3.3.1 with some great new features and improvements:

1. Improve EShop Product content plugin.

So if you want to insert a product into a Joomla article, you have 2 layouts to select now. The default layout to show full of product details information and the new compact layout to only show the Add to Cart button.

2. Payment plugins update:

- Fix a small issue of PayFast payment plugin when verify payment process.
- Upgrade Payplug payment plugin to use the new API from Payplug.
- Add a duplicated PayPal payment plugin.

So if you are using these payment plugins, please update EShop as well as update the payment plugin to have them work properly.

3. Add more configuration options:

- The configuration options to set the default images for categories, manufacturers and products. So with the categories, manufacturers and products that have still not had the images yet, you can configure to use the default images that you want.
- The configuration option to select the statuses for enabling invoice. So you can select multiple order statuses to enable invoice of order for that statuses.

4. Products Manager Improvement.

Add link to view the product on the front-end side from the back-end side. That way when a product is added to Eshop on the backend, then you can easily click a Preview link to view the product page on the site frontend. This would make the system easy for you to make sure your new/edited product listings display correctly on the frontend.

5. Free Shipping Improvements:

- Fix the issue when Only Free Shipping option is enabled.
- Update all of duplicated Free Shipping plugins to have full of functions as default Free Shipping plugin.

6. Improve layout of EShop Products module:

- Make it looks better and responsively.
- Fix the count number of images conflict with EShop pages.

7. Other fixes / improvements:

- Add a new supported PDF font for Chinese: Droidsansfallback.
- Fix the issue: Use wrong sender emailaddress for Email a friend.
- Fix the sample data to have it compatible with the latest version of EShop.
- Fix the issue with number products to show in the Products Filter module.
- Fix a small issue with category name of EShop Search plugin.
- Fix a small issue when Require Shipping Address is set to No.
- Fix the issue with low stock notification email.
- Fix the issue with quote products notification email.
- Fix the weight and length to display use Global setting for unit.

The link www.idehunt.fi/index.php?option=com_esho...catid=21&Itemid=1011 is only available and be viewed by admin's store. It's non-sef link and only for preview purpose.

The link www.idehunt.fi/liikelahjat/kotiin-ja-kei...nen-led-saunamittari is still there and is used by customer on the front-end side.

If i´m not logged in my site there comes always that non-sef link.

i have 3 sites with joomla+eshop+fashion template and this is only site what i have now updated.

So if i go to my other site (not logged admin) it looks like this heijastintukku.fi/heijastavat-vaatteet/h...ijastava-saturn-pipo

But in this updated site address looks after update always like this (not logged admin): www.idehunt.fi/index.php?option=com_esho...catid=21&Itemid=1011

When i tried (admin or not logged in) to open this with SEF address www.idehunt.fi/suojatuotteet/4-kerroksinen-kangasmaski
link is not working.

Any possibilty to downgrade eshop back to 3.3.0?

Jani, you are correct. Unfortunately it’s the same for me. It’s a bug.

Even when viewing my analytics I can see the new DRL’s not the usual SEO friendly links.

Edit: A customer sent me a link to a product he wished to purchase, the link was an eshop link and not SEO friendly link like normal.

I'm worried it's damaging my Google listings.

Giang can you please fix/revert this ASAP.

You are correct. I just double checked this and saw the issue. Seem there was a small wrong file in the package. I am checking now and I will resolve it, then update the package again.

I found the reason of issue. I made a small mistake when packing the new package of 3.3.1 version. I just corrected it and updated the correct package.

Please re-download latest EShop package again and update it to your site, then the problem will be resolved.
