EShop version 3.2.9 released

Dear all,

Today, I am happy to announce the next release of EShop Shopping Cart extension, version 3.2.9 with some great improvements:

1. Products sorting option per category.

From this version, in each category, you will have option to select default sorting for that category or use global sorting. So by this update, you can have the different default sorting of products for different categories when displaying products list on the front-end side.

2. SEO Improvement.

- Add ALT value for additional product images.
- Add ALT value for relation products images.
- Add ALT value for also bought products images.

3. Validate Product SKU.

As you may knew, SKU value of product must be unique so validation of product SKU when edit / create product is required. And this is ready from version 3.2.9.

4. Timezone fix.

From this version, all of display of date time field of store is fixed to use the site's time zone.

5. Product Notification Improvement.

Add the configure option to allow you to enter the additional admin's emails address to receive the product notification emails, include:

- Ask Question notification.
- Product Review notification.

6. Add Stripe Checkout payment plugin.

This plugin allows you to use Stripe Checkout ( stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout ) payment method (which is SAC compatible) for processing payment in EShop.

7. Add SenangPay payment plugin.

This plugin allows you to use SenangPay ( senangpay.my/ ) payment method for processing payment in EShop.

8. Update Beanstream (Bambora) payment plugin.

So if you are using Beanstream (Bambora) payment plugin, please download and update it.

9. Some other fixes / improvements.

- Update XLSXWrite library to process export data to Excel file.
- JavaScript optimize for EShop Products module and EShop Manufacturers module.
- Viewed Products report: show the products list in the ordering of viewed.
- Attributes Manager Improvement: Add Filter by Attribute Groups.
- Attribute Group Manager Improvement: Show number of Attributes.
- Categories Manager Improvement: Show number of Products.

Thanks but this features is a problem for my client. He has special product, for example signed copy of a book, that has same SKU of the original product and he want to have a dedicated product for these (the signed version is not an option of the product, is a specific product but the book has his SKU). Now he cannot save anymore his products. I understand the logic but without a configuration option to disable this features we can no longer use Eshop

I just added a new configure option for that. You can go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> Option tab, at "Product SKU Validation", choose No, then test again.

Please update EShop again, you will see that.

6. Add Stripe Checkout payment plugin.

I am currently using Strip plugin v 2.0.1. Where can I get the new SCA complaint version please?

I have updated but cannot find where to add the ALT value for the images.

Field alt value for images can be found via
PRODUCT- GENERAL : 5th field from top

Doh. Thanks. I was looking in the images tab.

I can't seem to find the ALT tag fo rthe additional images though or are these picked up from the main one?
