EShop 2.5.4 was released at 21 March, 2017

Hi! Though our shop says to update EShop package, when we do that via Joomla, there is an error and no update. We get:

Error: Failed to download package. Download it and install manually from joomdonation.com/index.php?option=com_dm...kage&document_id=145 .
=========
however, this link is broken on your site. Can you guide us to where the update file is? Thanks!

Hello Vickie,

You should go to the back-end of your site, then go to Extensions -> Manage to enable EShop - Installer plugin, then go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> General tab to enter the Download ID there.

After that, you can update EShop normally.

Thanks, Giang - But this still isn't working for me. I even generated another Download ID and tried it and still not able to update EShop. Any other suggestions?

I was having the same problem as Vickie. I have enabled EShop Installer plugin etc as you suggested.

Sorry if silly question - but where do I get the download ID from?

Hello James,

You should go to www.joomdonation.com/download-ids.html to generate Download ID for your website from there. Then go to the back-end of your site, go to EShop -> System -> Configuration to fill in that Download ID there.

After that, you can update EShop normally.
