Membership Pro - Group Memberships and Paywall Integrations

Hi there,
Right now, Membership Pro is a strong contender for our site. We will be hosting paid courses through a Learning Management System (LMS). So what we need is a way to limit/provide access to select course material (pages) based on pre-payment. I have a couple needs/questions about what Membership Pro can and cannot do.

1. Is group (e.g., corporate) multi-user payment an option? For example, if a user (student) identifies their company using a special "discount code" or similar, can Membership Pro handle this situation? In this scenario, we foresee selling employers multi-student discounts wherein the employer pre-pays for some maximum number of students, then when each student registers, they enter the "discount code" to be added to that group. Once the max number of members of a discount group is reached, the student attempting to use the discount code would be instructed to contact their employer.
2. I see Zeffy isn't listed as one of the payment portal integration options. Would it be possible to get Zeffy added? If not, how can we use Zeffy perhaps outside/alongside Membership Pro to implement a working solution? Can Membership Pro work from Joomla or Community Builder custom user fields? What integration "hooks" are supported to do stuff like this?

1. We actually do not have any option which works exactly as you described. However, it has group membership feature docs.joomdonation.com/membershippro/adva...res/group-membership which allow someone to registers, then add members into his group (or invite members to join via an secret invite link). Not sure if It could be used to handle your requirement ?

2. I haven't looked at Zeffy , so I do not know. In theory, if they have good integration document, a payment plugin could be developed to work with that payment gateway

3. Membership Pro works with both Joomla user custom fields and CB custom fields. So depends on your need, you can choose to use CB or not

Those are all great answers! I think the group membership concept will work just fine, though I would have to run it by the committee for that site project. As for Zeffy, it does have an API that is still in beta. It is currently read-only, but I believe this provides a way to get user-specific data such as email address to sync to the Joomla user account. That is why I asked about custom fields, since custom fields may be needed to import all the data provided through the Zeffy API.

Thanks Bruce. I could not answer about Zeffy because I know nothing about it. But for custom fields, Membership Pro works well with both Joomla custom fields and CB custom fields as I mentioned earlier

With that said, I hope you can use Membership Pro for this project
