Exclude Categories - Warning : Undefined array

Exclude Categories - Warning : Undefined array was created by Justin Jeffrey
Hi there
I have an issue where if I use the Exclude Category under menu options, I get a front end error as follows:

Warning: Undefined array key ":preparedArray3" in/home/xxx/xxx/libraries/vendor/joomla/database/src/Mysqli/MysqliStatement.phpon line378
Warning: foreach() argument must be of type array|object, null given in /home/xxx/xxx/libraries/vendor/joomla/database/src/Mysqli/MysqliStatement.php

Any ideas?
