Payment Forms Used for Calculations

Hi,
I have vers 6.10.1 of Payment Forms but am out of subscription so not expecting tech support. However, I would like to know if this extension provides a facility to be used to make calculations but not for payment. Your introduction says in can be used to collect information but I want a form which can be used by the customer on the website for choosing various options to get a calculated price for services so the customer has a rough guide of the cost. I don't want to collect money at this stage nor do I need any information sending to me. So really just being used by the customer as a calculator for their own use. 

I did this years ago with Breezing Forms but they are no longer providing updates and not compatible with Joomla 6. 

Will Payment Forms work for this?

Hi Dave

If there is Payment Amount, payment form requires a pay plugin for it to work. But for your need, I think for that specific form, you can enable and use offline payment. That should work

Thanks for the reply, Tuan.

I don't think this will work for me because the form will show "Payment Method Offline Payment" and have a "process payment" button which will just confuse users as they don't pay or need to submit anything.
I can't use Translation to change the text either because I'm using the form to take payments on another part of the website.

OK Dave. In this case, I guess you will need to find a different solution (maybe a separate extension to use)
