Hello,I’ll try to explain this briefly.Would it be possible, as with Events Bbooking, to generate a QR code in the eShop that can be scanned with the same scanner app — for example, to sell gift cards for a Christmas market, which would then become invalid after being scanned?Or would this type of “online” shopping be possible through Events Booking?
Thanks

Hi

The question/requirement is not very clear to me. Could you please explain more details about it? Exactly how do you want it to work ?

Hi,

Basically the ticket system functions as a shop system.

You order an item or something similar in the online shop — like at IKEA when buying large furniture, for example.
On the invoice, just like in the ticket system, there is a QR code that can be scanned with an app.
When picking up the goods at the collection point, the QR code on the invoice can be scanned and marked as completed, so that the QR code or invoice cannot be used again.

Hi

Thanks for your explanation. Unfortunately, this is a special requirement and to be honest, we do not have plan to support in EShop in any near future

Tuan

Events Booking has built-in support for cart mode. So you can give it a try to see if it works exactly as you want

Shopping Cart mean if you enable it, users can add multiple events to cart and register for these events in one checkout. You can go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Activate Shopping Cart config option to Yes to use it

H Tuan,

yeah i found it. But i my understanding, i can't add a singel item as in a "real" shopping cart system, without a date to the item
it still has to be an event of course.

my understanding was that i was able to add an item like in a classic shopping cart system that can be choosen plus the events.
regards

Ah, no, sorry. Events Booking is not developed to replace standard shopping cart system like EShop. Shopping Cart in Events Booking just mean users can add multiple events into cart and register for all of these events within checkout

Tuan
