Enent booking pre sales question

Hello, We are interested in using the Event Booking component and have reviewed its features. We have multiple events scheduled at the same time, Please check the attached screenshot, we have highlighted events in rows and want to ensure that our clients can only select one event in the row.

How can we achieve this with the Event Booking component?

So basically, you do not want users to book for events which time overlap with each other? It is not a default behavior but you can enable the plugin docs.joomdonation.com/eventsbooking/plug...overlap-registration to have that feature

In our old events booking component, we published events in different categories/groups, and we want the user to book only 1 event from 1 category/group.
Can we do that with this events booking component?

Unfortunately, that's not supported and will require custom development. This would cost you 30$ or so for the development of that feature

Raja created that request for me.
As far as I see, the “Prevent overlap registration” function only prevents multiple events from being booked at the same time. What we want to achieve is that the user sees the agenda when booking an event and can select corresponding elements there. If several elements overlap in time (as in the screenshot from Raja), then only one should be selectable.
Example:

Event 1
Agenda:
10:00 - 10:30 am: welcome session
11:00 - 11:45 am: Talk 1
11:00 - 11:45 am: Talk 2
11:00 - 11:45 am: Talk 3
12:15 - 1:00 pm: Talk 4
12:15 - 1:00 pm: Talk 5
12:15 - 1:00 pm: Talk 6
1:30 - 2:00 pm: break

---

In this example there are Talks (or elements) overlapping. In particually theses are Talk 1-3 and Talk 4-6. In this case the user should be able to select on of each timeframe. So e.g. he could select Talk 2 and Talk 5. But he would not be able to select Talk 1 and Talk 3 because they are on the same time.

Would that be possible with a different plugin?

I believe it can be handled by the plugin I was talking about before. But I guess you must try to see if it is actually works as you want

For that, you can purchase a copy of the extension to try. If it is not working as expected, you can request us for refund
