QR Code process

I'm setting up a J! site for an outdoor community food and wine event and looking at shifting away from TryBooking.

The committee are concerned about how the QR Code checkin will work with this component given we have multiple volunteers manning the multiple entry gates?
I've read the docs here and while I "think" I understand how it works, at a technical level, I'm not confident enough to be able to present to them as to our situation.

My thinking for the non tech people .. for correction

• Attendees turn up and present their phone with the QR Code showing.
• Person at the entry gate scans that QR Code with their iPhone using the QRCode Plus app.
• That scan connects to the web site and checks their registration
• Site comes back with a yes or no.

The phones used at the checking need to have QRCode Plus installed and the "Method" re url and "post" and "code" setting as outlined here

Yes, Events Booking works perfectly for your need. You can have multiple people at different gates to perform checkin. Also, I would suggest you to use the build-in scanner to checkin instead of having to install a third party mobile app, see docs.joomdonation.com/eventsbooking/adva...lt-in-qrcode-scanner
