Membership Pro vs RSMembership was created by lcabezas
Can you please help in providing valid points on why we should get Membership Pro over RSMembership?
I have a client who would like us to use RSMembership and I've been trying to convince them to use Membership Pro. I'm used to Joomdonation's extensions and would need help in convincing my client.
Thanks.

Hi lcabezas
To be honest, I haven't looked at RSMembership, so I could not provide a comparison to show which one is better. Something to consider :
1. Membership Pro is features rich: At this time, I think it has everything you need to run a membership website:
- Charge members (both manual renewal or automatic renewal - recurring subscription)
- Assign subscribers to user groups you want and base on that, give them certain permissions on your site
- Give subscribers access to restricted resources (articles......) when they subscribers for your plans.
- Support wide ranges of payment gateways
2. Active development and good support
- The extension has been developed from Joomla 2.5. It is continue being developed for Joomla 3, Joomla 4 and next release, it will also be compatible with Joomla 5. So unlike other unreliable vendors which could stop the development and make upgrading Joomla difficult, we always make our extensions compatible with new Joomla releases. This is actually quite import if you ever have to migrate a none supported extension to a new system when upgrading Joomla
- Keep releasing new versions of the extension every month or sometime, ever 2 months. So that mean the extension is active developed
- It is also always compatible with new PHP release, so each time you need to update your server to use new PHP version for security purpose, the extension is compatible
- As you have use our extensions, you know how good we are with support. You always receive good and fast support from us. I even available at night and during weekend for support, so when you have urgent support request, I'm always available
I just named few points. If they have any questions, I'm happy to answer
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks Tuan for this.
Yes, I truly agree with point no. 2, especially on support.

Hi Tuan,
In Membership Pro's Import/Export, is it possible to use the Import to update certain field/s of all existing members?
I mean, like if we have a field that is only read-only (CB) for members, can we update that field for all existing members?
Also, do you have a demo Admin account for the back end?

Hi
Yes. You can use import feature to update data for existing subscription records.
We do not have access to backend of demo site. However, you can purchase a copy of the extension to try. If it is not working as expected or you do not like it for any reasons, you can request us for refund
