Main event and child events

Is there a way of having a main event and then sub-events that people can register for but only after they've registered for the main event?

In other words:

Main Event (people need to register for this)
        Sub Event 1
        Sub Event 2
        Sub Event 3
        etc...

Everyone needs to register for the Main Event and then they're given the opportunity to register for a Sub Event and only 1 Sub Event
 

You can enable Events Booking - Event Dependencies plugin. Then configure sub-events to depend on main event. Mean users will need to register for main event first before they are allowed to register for sub-event

However, there is no option to limit them to register for only one sub event as you want
