Question about ticket type plugin was created by drjjw
Hello,
When setting the maximum ticket types allowed for each individual to purchase, there does not seem to be a way to set the maximum total allowed of tickets allowed for the person to buy.
So for example, I would like users to be able to select between Ticket A or Ticket B. So I could set a Max Tickets per Booking for each at "1". Howeever, I want the user to be able to only buy 1 Ticket total, not one of each. So if they select Ticket A, they cannot also buy Ticket B. Is this possible with the ticket type plugin? Or in some other way?

Hello Jordan
When you setup ticket types for your event, there is a setting called Only Allow Registering For One Ticket Type. Set it to Yes and users can only register for one ticket type from available ticket types
That should address your requirement
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks I purchased the component. It is confusing to use the Multiple Tickets. It seems you have to set the price of the event at zero and then use the ticket types to set the amount. The problem with that is in the event info table, the individual price is listed as free. This is true even your demo:
joomdonationdemo.com/eventbooking/featur...ultiple-ticket-types
Is that the expected behaviour because it does seem very confusing to label the event as free. Perhaps in the case of using the multiple ticket option, the event cost should be omitted in the table to avoid confusion.

Hi Jordan
Yes. The price of the event should be set to 0. To avoid it is showing as Free, there are two options :
1. Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Show Price for Free Event config option to No
2. Or when setup the event, there is a setting called Price Text. Enter the a general text you want there, for example, depend on ticket type or Adult: 10$, Children : 5$. The text you entered there will be displayed instead of Free
That should address your concern
