We are preparing to make a purchase and considering our options.

1. Can you give a few details about how the plugin works?

A. For example: Will the plugin enable a JS user to receive both one time and recurring donations?
B. Can the plugin be programmed to Support various modules like the Donation Thermometer, Donation Campaigns?   If not, can we hire you to custom
develop these features?
C. Is there a demo somewhere of the plugin in action?

Hi Alison,
The plugin "JS Donate me" is Jomsocial plugin of Joom Donation extension. You still need Joom Donation extension installed in case you want to use "JD Donate" plugin. This plugin will show the Donate link in JomSocial User Profile page, and it will be linked to Donation form in Joom Donation extension. It's just add-on of Joom Donation, so we don't have demo of it.

Ok, I understand that I need the component. I just want to be sure. I am trying to create a crowdfunding site for my users. Can users who register on my site via Joomla, Jomsocial or Joomdonation create their own campaign?

Ok please ignore the last request. I just found the information we were looking for... we will purchase component and plugin tomorrow.

Joom Donation allows logged users to create their own campaigns (at frontend side of extension) to receive donation on there campaigns. Each campaign supports different Paypal and Authorize.net credentials, so user will able to receive donation directly through Paypal and Authorize.net payment gateways.

In general, at frontend side of extension, user will able to:

  Manage their own campaigns at frontend side
  Manage their donors who donated for their campaigns

Yes, Joom Donation has feature to allow logged users to manage their campaigns/donors at frontend of component. And of course, user can enter Paypal and Authorize.net credentials in their campaigns to receive payment directly.
