Joom Donation - Does it support campaigns with matching funds?

We have a few campaigns we want to run where sponsors may offer to match funds up to a certain amount.

Does your product have a way to work this in?

Example, a sponsor indicates they will match donations on a campaign up to $1000. Will the plugin be able to show that for the first $1000 donated an additional $1000 will be added?

Joom Dontion supports Campaigns, in each of campaign, you can enter "goal", it's amount that you want to achieve. Joom Dontion has option to allow/not allow donation to specific campaign when its goal is achieved.

That’s not really what I am looking for, so I am guessing it just does not support this?

Thanks for your response. No, that is not exactly correct.

In order to help motivate people to donate, we often have sponsors who offer to match amounts donated from the public (usually with a cap).

Example, a sponsor volunteers to match other donations up to $1000. In this example, if the first person to donate gives $100, the sponsor also gives $100 automatically. So, when that person donates the $100, we actually are $200 towards the goal (donor’s $100 plus the sponsor’s $100 match). This happens for the first $1000 donated. So when $1000 is donated we are actually $2000 towards the goal. However, if the first donor contributed $1500, the sponsor would match $1000 of it, bringing us $2500 towards our goal.

I would like to be able to reflect that on the front end for people to see there is a match fund available, and for the total collected to factor in the match amounts.

Your requirement is quite special, so Joom Donation doesn't have it. And i don't think there are any Joomla Donation extensions support it too. In case you need that feature, we can discuss for customization project. Is that ok with you?
