Recurring payment with Paypal was created by simonbelmont72
Hello,
I have a question about recurring payment with Paypal?
If I activate this option in administrator, when the user will make a purchase on the site with a payment over several months. He won't need to come to the site every month to pay each time? He logs in once and pays once.
For the next payments, it is the component Membership pro component which will contact Paypal directly and withdraw automatic the amount from the user's Paypal account?

Yes, that's correct. In that case, every month PayPal will charge users automatically. Each time PayPal charges users, it will notify Membership Pro about payment so that Membership Pro knows about it and extends the subscription, send emails to administrator and user.
Everything happens automatically. No need for any manual action from both users and administrators

Hi Tuan
Thank for quick reply.
For the renewal of payment, it is not a simple e-mail notification where the user is alerted that he must come and pay on Paypal?
Best regards

Hello
No, they do not need to come to PayPal and pay. PayPal will charge users automatically, users do not need to come to PayPal at all
The email notification will be sent after PayPal charges users and their subscription is renewed just to tell them that their subscription is renewed
If it is needed, you can also send reminder before renewal happens to tell users to prepare money in their PayPal account before renewal happens.... (just in case they do not have enough money in their PayPal account)
Hope my explanation is clear to you
Regards,
Tuan

Yes it is very well explained. Thanks Tuan for the quick explanation and the work you do for joomla.
Last question, do you sell a quickstart for the Lavida template with pro membership demonstration?

You can purchase the extension and template. We can then send you a backup copy of the demo site so that you can restore it on your server if needed
