Renewal Emails

Is there a standard reminder email that goes out for renewal or do you have to put a customised one in each plan?

If you do have to enter a customised one are the short codes (eg [PLAN TITLE] )the same as those used in the main Emails Section

Yes. There are standard messages in Membership Pro -> Emails & Messages section. You only have to change the messages there if needed

The messages inside the plan, you will only have to setup if you want that plan to use different messages than the global messages.
