OS Service Booking - specific configuration was created by Andrea Sichera
Hello team,
I think it's a great extension, really complete!
I'm a volunteer in a social organization, and I'm trying to find some tool to organize our service turn and availability.
I've got two specific needs:
1. team/turn definition: Every sunday I have to complete two teams of 4 people, with the highlight of uncomplete teams and the name of the people. (I thought to use the "employees" entity, with a capacity of 4, but I'm not sure
2. call center receive a service requests and register it based on a generic availability. in a second time this service is assigned to a team.
I did the second one with fabrik, but I've no control on the capacity.
have you got a solution for these?
many thanks guys.
ciao
andrea

Hi Andrea,
As you described, you will receive calls from customers and make a reservation directly according to their request. Also the way you describe it, your system has 2 teams, each team has 2 employees.
But I also have some issues that would like you to clarify:
1. Are these teams the same functions and duties? If so, why split into teams without leaving the 4 employees working in parallel?
2. Suppose when an employee in a team is selected for a specific timeslot (7:00 -> 8:00), can the remain employee in that team be booked to that same time slot (7:00 -> 8:00) by another customer? Because in OS Services Booking, each employee will have different timeslots sheets. But when 2 employees in the same team, there may be a link between the working timeslots.
Thanks
Dam

Hi,
What you described si the “message” setup, whereeach employee represent a single service slot.
But what I need is quote different:
Something like the following example::
Think to’ my Teams as a pool.
I’v got 2 pools and in each can stay 3 people per time.
So I have to accept the riservation for 3 people for each pool.
—Pool1
—-people 1
—-people 2
—-people 3
—Pool2
—-people 1
—-people 2
—-people 3

Hi,
So you can organize the system with 2 services: "Pool1" and "Pool2" with employees will be assigned to those services.
You will able to make booking on timeslots of employees/services. For example:
Pool1 - People 1 - 8:00 AM -> 9:00 AM
Is this what you need?
Thanks
Dam
