Register for an event and become a member?

I own both Events Booking & Membership Pro so this isn't a pre-sales question but I didn't know where else to put it. 
I would like to integrate these 2 so that people who register for an event become a member (preferably not vice versa). Is this possible and if so, how do I set it up? 

More details: the event is a course to become an instructor. There's different levels, but the base fee is $500 (other levels are add-ons with extra fees). Membership for instructors costs $150: I want to use Membership Pro to assign a member number as part of their registration for the course; their membership fee is included in the course cost.

In short, as of right now, there is no option to add a registrant in Events Booking to become subscriber in Membership Pro

Please add this kind of integration to your feature wish list.
In the meantime, I guess I will have to generate a coupon code to discount membership to zero with registration.

OK Melissa. I will monitor customer requests. If there are more customers need it, I will consider supporting it in future releases of the extension
