QR Code of URL

Hi,
I see you can get a QR code generated for the ticket, but what I want is a QR code for an event that I can stick on the door, then when people come, they scan the QR code which opens up the registration page, they fill in their details and done - this is for COVID contact tracing.
Is it possible to do or should I just use a QR code generator?

The QR CODE in our extension is just used for checkin registrants when they bring the ticket to your event

For your need, just use any QR CODE generator to generate the qr code with the link you want, it should be handled outside of our extension
