Members Who Upload Content

Does membership pro allow for the creation of accounts pending approval?

I have a client who wants a website where they can create and upload art, music, short stories etc. However, they want to have other content creators to be able to create an account with approval. Then the content creators should be able to upload their content to their own section of the website.

Then the client wants to have people to create accounts who will be able to have free subscriptions to see free content that is shared on the website. As well as paying for subscriptions to different content creators for different content.

This is actually controlled by Joomla. If you want to approve user accounts before they can login, you can go to Users -> Manage, click on Options button in the toolbar, set New User Account Activation parameter to Administrator

Then admin can check and approve user accounts
