Stripe Checkout plugin vs Stripe plugin

Hi folks,
I have purchased the Stripe Checkout plugins for both EB and OSM..... I am not sure if I have purchased the correct plugins...
What is the difference between the 'Stripe', and the 'Stripe Checkout' plugins, and why are there two?

Hi Mike
1. The Stripe allows users to enter credit card information directly on your site for processing payment
2. The Stripe Checkout payment plugin redirect users to Stripe for processing payment. One important point is that it's compatible with SCA requirement from Stripe
In short, if you are affected by SCA requirement, use MP Stripe Checkout. If you are not affected by SCA requirement, use MP Stripe. See stripe.com/docs/strong-customer-authentication#impact to understand more about SCA

Thanks Dam for your speedy reply.....
I am in Australia, so I don't think the SCA requirements apply here.
Is there any possibility that I can change the plugins to the simpler ones, or do you suggest that I just stick with the SCA Checkout ones?
I'm not sure of the complexities involved between the two.

If you are not affected by SCA requirement, I would suggest you to use MP Stripe. It's simpler for users to process payment (they can enter credit card information directly on your site for processing payment instead of being redirected to Stripe)

Think about it and let us know your decision. If you want to switch to MP Stripe, we will be happy to switch your order

Yes please, I would like to switch the order to the Non-SCA versions of the 2 payment plugins (EB & OSM).
The original purchase of both plugins was done on the 27 July, under a different userid (which started with the letters "contour.........".
The first name for that account is "Mick"
