Eventsbooking category color and event import? was created by Macjoomla
Hello,
we are evaluating the use of some joomdonation components (membership, edocman, events booking). It is not an easy decision, because you don't give access to the backend and there is no limited free version to test, like other components offer.
For events booking we have two important points that must fit, so please can you answer following two questions:
1. Categories can have individual colors. What would these colors be used for in frontend? Can date and headline of an Event in layouts and latest event module have the category color?
2. Is it possible to import events to events booking? If yes, how would this work?
Thank you and best regards

Hello
1. The category color, currently, only used to show events (with that color) in the calendar. On events list and event details page, it's not used. However, it should be easy to customize the extension to have it works as you want if it is needed
2. Yes. You can import /export events from/to CSV/Excel file. See eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...events/import-events
Regards,
Tuan

Hello and thank you for your helpful answer.
I attached some modified screenshots, that way, it would be important for us to have the category colors shown alike in the different views of events.
Do you mean, you would be so kind to make this possible, if we will purchase events booking? If so, can you estimate the time for doing so?
Thank you very much and best regards

Hello
We could not do this as part of support. For doing these modifications, we will need to charge you some extra fee (50$ should be enough for these modifications)

Tuan

Hello Tuan, thank you for this friendly offer. We are still evaluating, but as said in other thread, it is not easy to get an overview, how components work for registrated users. We can't login as user on all demo pages and there is no way to test the administration. So it is a little bit like buying a pig in a poke. Though, what we can see, is looking nice.

As I said, purchase and try. If it's not working as expected, just request us for refund, it's simple like that

Tuan
