Editing/saving events in adminpanel crashes Edge browser was created by FranzMartin
Hi,
sorry, I took the wrong category.
I thought this issue is known, but I couldn't find a similar question in the forum.
When a user with admin rights try to edit and save events in EB,
Edge crashes with the message "An error was encountered while loading the page. Please contact..."
This only happens in Edge.
In Opera, Google Chrome and Firefox we have no problems.
I also tried as superuser and with different accounts, Edge still crashes, so it couldn't be an authority issue.
Tried with clean browser cache, deleted cookies, etc. - no luck.
Cleaning cache in adminpanel or repairing database but the error still appears.
Is there any solution for this issue?
Thank you in advance

Hi Franzmartin
Honestly, I don't have solution for this issue. Maybe it's because the page has too many input and Edge could not handle it? I'm really unsure
For this, since it's backend usage, better please use Google Chrome or Firefox for the time being

Thanks for the quick answer and it seems you're right.
Meanwhile I think it was this big update Microsoft for Edgemade in january. Before that, every thing worked fine.
So we already changed to Firefox and Google Chrome.
Thank you.
Best
Franz Martin
