Migration from Magento 1 and product customisation question

Hi,

I'm considering moving away from Magento 1, and considering migrating to eShop, as it looks good and user friendly to set-up and use, with very good functionality.

So 2 questions:

1) Is there safe way to migrate from Magento to eShop?

2) Is it possible to add this customization to products? When a customer chooses a t-shirt, then he/she is asked if they want to add a logo. At this point, if they say NO - no further action is required on the page. If the customer says YES - then, more options are given, such as:

- Location of the logo (front, back, right, left etc.)
- Image or text
---> If image, then the customer is given the option to upload an image file
---> If text, then the customer is given option type his/her text, and choose a font (with a basic preview to indicate the font)

Thanks!

Hi there,

If you haven't performed the switch yet, you can turn to LitExtension service and get your current store data transferred from Magento to eShop without any business interruption or end-user confusion. The service allows to migrate the following entities to eShop: products, orders, customers, manufacturers, reviews, blogs, and other related entities. Besides, you can take advantage of the additional migration options (create 301 redirects after migration, migrate additional images, etc.) to make your specific Shopify migration even more seamless and error-free.

LitExtension ensures 100% eShop store uptime, excellent data transfer quality and provides 24/7 support. The prices for Magento to eShop start at $59 and solely depend on the amount of your store entities and chosen additional options. If you want to see how the service works in progress, you can previously launch free demo migration and estimate its results on your new Shopify store.

If you have any questions concerning the migration - feel free to contact them any time.

Hello North,

Thank you for submitting the questions here.

1. Currently, we don't have a migrate tool from Magento to EShop directly. However, if you can export the data from Magento to Excel / CSV file, then you can use our EShop Import Pro tool to import the data back to EShop.

2. EShop supports Product Options feature which allows you to setup additional options for product. Please read more about it here: eshopdocs.joomservices.com/catalog/products#product-options

Sincerely, Giang

Hello North,

If you want to migrate all data from Magento 1 to eShop (you mean OXID eShop right?), I highly recommend you to use an automated data migration tool called LitExtension which helps you transfer all your data such as products, customers, orders,.. from Magento 1 to eShop automatically and directly with a high level of security and accuracy.

As I researched, this service also provides many free additional options for customers, for example, Clear Data On Target Store Before Migration; Create The 301 Redirects ($19); Migrate Customers Password; SEO URLs Migration ($19); Strip HTML Tags; Migrate Additional Images.

Moreover, you don’t need to be a tech-guru or any advanced technical skills to start your migration from Magento to OXID eShop . With only 3 simple steps, you can set all things up (set up source cart and target cart -> choose the entities you want to migrate and the additional options you need -> Run full migration) and your Magento to eShop migration will be successfully completed. Before starting the full migration, you should try LitExtension Free Demo to preview how easily it works.

Hope this helps you!

Hello Katie,

No, it is not OXID eShop. It is Joomla EShop Shopping Cart extension. So I think your suggestion is not right place here.

Sincerely, Giang
