event_date - but without time?

When we send out the emails when people register for events, then we put in event_date in the email
Our problem is that the event start time is not the same time as when we have the exam for the events
So is it possible to put in ONLY the DATE for the events in these emails - without the event's starttime? So we just get the DATE and not bot date and time?

Try to use [EVENT_DATE_DATE] tag in the email message. It should have the value you want

I think it worked

I will get back to you if we find out that it is not working, but I tried resending the email for an earlier registrant and that came out fine, with only the event date without time

It will work for new registration, too, do not worry
