Hello, is there a working demo that I can register on and see what kind of a thank you reply I receive or anything to look at for thank you for registering replies? I also want to be sure if I send out a group email there is an opt out?

You can try to register directly on our demo site joomdonationdemo.com/eventbooking/ . The thank you for registering (message and email) is configurable, so you can customize it to meet your own need

For group email, you can configure the system to send email to all group members or just send email to the billing person (the person who performs the group registration)

We register 150 children for VBS yearly. I will send out a bulk email every once in a while to all of the families asking them to bring a needed item and also a reminder for the next year coming.
1. Can I send html email in a template with an image if needed?
2. As the kids get older and not eligible to come, is there an opt-out that goes out with all email so they can stop my emails if they don't want to receive them?

If you want to send emails to users and ask them to register, I believe you would need to use a newsletter extension like ACYMailing for sending those emails (not use Events Booking for this task)

If you use ACYMailing, I believe users can unsubscribe from mailing list if they want and they will stop receiving these kind of emails from the system in the future
