I am trying to understand how this works. In the Category manager, I entered under Publishing that I want a user group notified. Why do I also need to enter email addresses? Shouldn't it be able to grab the email addresses of all users in that group and send out the emails?

OK. That is how I hoped it would work but it does not seem to be working. No emails are being received.
1) I have the notification plugin enabled.
2) The user is in the Finance user group
3) The Finance group is selected for notification
4) the user has an email address and is set to receive system emails
What else is there?
