Yes. Just go to Events Booking -> Configuration, set Prevent Duplicate Registration config option to No and it should solve the issue

Hi
this option is disabled in my site. "Prevent duplicate = Yes" in global configuration and in event settings this option is "use global"
when i check the registrant list i can see the same user registered 5 times for the same date so the event is now full and switch to waiting list
How is it possible with this 2 settings enabled ?

That's strange to me. Could you please submit a support ticket sending us:
- Super admin account
- Tell us email of the registrant which is could register for that event multiple times
We are going to check to see what's wrong and get it sorted
