EVENTS BOOKING: "Buy Now" button - do not use event registration in this module was created by dadinfishers
Is it possible to simply add a buy now button that is a link to a third-party ticketing site? No Joomla registration needed. No data entered at all on my website or in this component?

Yes. You just need edit the event, set Custom Registration Handle URL the URL you want and it will work as expected
