import events to Events Booking was created by Aaron Lowndes
I currently create my events in my Facebook Page* - they have an option to include the "Ticket URL", pointing to my site. All of the information about the event I need is in Facebook, excepting the registrants list and the places still available. Rather than re-creating all of this data on my website, I have a php script on my site that pulls the events data directly from facebook, and creates an ical file with it. My website then imports that data as new events to show on a calendar/list.
Unfortunately the events registration/ticketing plugin is currently not working all that well, so I would like to see if Events Booking does the job better. One thing I haven't yet seen on this forum is whether there is the ability to import events from an ical file/feed so that I am not manually re-creating the same events data. Is this possible?
* Facebook's api does not allow events to be created/imported, so the only way to do this is to create them on Facebook first and then have the data feed copied elsewhere.

Hello Aaron
Unfortunately, Events Booking does not have an option to import events data from an ics file. So I guess you will have to enter these events manually or writing a script to do this import
Events Booking, however, allow you to import events from a CSV/Excel file,so if you somehow, can convert that ics file into an Excel file, then it can be imported into Events Booking without the need of any custom code
Regards,
Tuan

I can definitely fiddle with the script to create a csv file instead, would I need to manually import it myself or is there the option to "keep checking this csv file for changes and, if there are any, run the import"...
