Hi,
PDF Indexer extension is suitable in this case, it is used to indexed (Read and Stored) content of PDF documents. And the indexed content can be used for searching at front-end side of your Joomla.

The cost of Edocman and PDF Indexer extensions are the same $ 29.99 USD, it's the cost for one year subscription.
