membership pro - question integration eshop

Hello,

is it possible to use membership pro with eshop? I am using eshop and I would like to have eshop handle all (invoice...). Also, can I integrate membership pro frontend related information, without all the payment stuff (I want eshop to handle this).

I am working with joomla fabrik. I have a custom registration form, that can handle personal information across extensions. It would be a mess, if I have multiple pages that handle user information. I would have to check membership tables in order to see what information is required and if I can inject information to membership pro tables.

Unfortunately, it's not possible. Membership Pro is independent with Eshop, registration and payment process is all handled from Membership Pro itself, there is no way to have Eshop handles Membership Pro payment

thank you for your answer. This would mean I can't publish a membership product with eshop and code some magic to inject necessary information into membership tables? I can do the PHP and SQL, but maybe at some point eshop and membership extensions can't be fused.

I am not planning on running 2 payment gates on my site. I might just use membership pro in backend for simple user group assignment with timeframe, even if I can't sell memberships.

I thought it would be possible to publish a plan as an eshop product.

Yes. It's possible to publish plan as a product in Eshop and then do custom coding to insert subscriber information into Membership Pro base on the data he entered via Eshop. However, it will require some custom coding as you said. That's why I said it's not possible (mean not possible out of the box, without custom coding)

Could you give some indication of where we can do this custom coding?
or is this something you would need to do?

I see you have a plugin to link membership pro data with the groups in Eshop, it is a real shame this cannot be used to sync contacts the other way as well...

Any advice on how we can link these products would be appreciated.

Honestly, you need to be a good developer to do this development:

1. You have to customize Eshop add/edit product to allow choosing the plan related to that product

2. Then write a plugin for Eshop which process event onOrderSuccess or something like that, check all the products in that order, if there is a product related to plan, then add a subscription record to Membership Pro
