Google adsense plugin and SSL

Just before I renew/buy the plugin
an you please tell me whether the ads display if the site is ssl/https
I think that they will not

It is all handled by google ads, so honestly, we are unsure. I tried to perform some google search but found no where says that Google ads requires site in https

So I guess https/ssl is optional. If you want to know the exactly answer, please contact them and ask them about it

I have tried the plugin on my site and here are results -
Ads display on non ssl
Ads do not display on ssl
As such It is not worth renewing my license for this plugin

I think it would only be fair to prospective new plugin customers to include this info in the sales ad for this product
I do realise that it is google and not your plugin but think it would avoid you have unhappy customers if someone was to buy the plugin, Like I did, only to find it does not work on their site.
