Event Booking - PayPal without PayPal account

Hi all

Is it possile to let user pay using paypal without creating PayPal account (just use credicard) ? :huh:

I have tried but PayPal page always ask the custumer to create a Paypal account .

I replied this question via support ticket, but I will also paste it here in case someone has same question/issue

This is all controlled by PayPal and PayPal has no clear documentation about it, so I am not sure. Might be something with your PayPal account settings, please read the discussions at www.paypal-community.com/t5/How-to-use-P...pal-users/td-p/35817 . Some key notes:

- Your account must be either Premier or Business
- PayPal Account Optional is turned on - this enables non PP Members to pay by Credit Card
- The email address you use to log into your PayPal Account must be verified
- Clear cookie before trying to make payment.

If it still not sorted, please contact PayPal and ask them about it. They should be able to check and tell you the reasons of the issue and hopefully, there is an option to turn it on. Please tell them that you are using PayPal Website Payment Standard Integration method

Customer just updated us via support ticket with this response from PayPal (so the reason is credit card information is not enabled in customer country only):

In some countries customers do need to create a PayPal account in order to make a payment as check out as a guest is not possible .
Iceland is one of those countries
