Want to HIDE children of recurring featured event

Want to HIDE children of recurring featured event was created by Vicky Oldham

So I would like my list of FEATURED events (using the module, and setting Featured) to NOT display a child of a recurring event -- only show the parent event once. How can I do that? Thank you!

Hi Vicky

The module didn't support it. I modified the module, add a parameter called Show children events. You can install this updated module (will be part of next release), then set that parameter to No and it will work as expected

Thanks for your nice words, Vicky. I could be proud to say that it is the best events registration extension for Joomla now but I am still working hard to make it better

Hi Tuan, I do not see that option in the module for Upcoming Events. I will put my login to admin for you in a ticket... Or, is there some setting in component config I need to set first? Thank you for your help!
