Category Icons on frontpage

Hi I am currently using Migoshop as my ecommerce solution but it seems over the few years I have been using it I find when there is an issue that you are left on your own to find a solution. I am therefore looking at using eshop.
I would like to know if I load eshop into an existing joomla template and set it as a link from the main menu can I add the category icons (usually an image from the category) to the front page so that the categories are visible on the frontpage of the website and when clicked the visitor is taken to that category with the products available showing and can be selected to view more details.
In Mijoishop this is done via a module (mijoshop-all-in-one) does eshop use a similar process or a different one or is this feature not available in eshop?

Hello Kerry,

Thank you for interesting in our EShop Shopping Cart extension. EShop has Frontpage view page and Categories view page to show list of categories with images easily. It should work as your expect.

As you see our demo site at joomdonationdemo.com/eshop/ , the front page of EShop is used as home page of the site.
