For example, I can set the price of the single event and if I exempted it I set that for 2 participants I have x discount, for 4 another discount etc

Yes. I believe you can handle it using group registration rate option when creating event, see documentation eventbookingdoc.joomservices.com/basic-s...p-registration-rates
