OS Property - Kyero XML Import was created by Ashley Bundock
Hi
Does the Kyero Import addon import properties from 3rd parties if the feeds are Kyero XML feed v3
I need to be able to import properties from many agents to my website which will act as a portal - all the agents have Kyero v3 XML export feeds
Best regards
Ashley

Hi Ashley,
Kyero Import tool allows administrator to import properties through XML files (with Kyero XML format). So you can import properties of Agents through XML files normally from Back-end of Import tool
Thanks
Dam

Hi
I have been looking at the Kyero XML feed for OS Property a bit more and read through the docs
It looks like it can only import from an xml file on your computer
Is that correct?
I need it to be able to import from a URL and I need it to be able run on a cron job
It should also add new properties in feed
update properties that have been modified
And delete any property no longer in the feed
The feed should be configurable
What are your suggestions
Best regards
Ashley

Hi Ashley,
If you want to have below features:
- import from a URL and I need it to be able run on a cron job
- It should also add new properties in feed
- update properties that have been modified
- And delete any property no longer in the feed
- The feed should be configurable
We can implement it for you, and we will consider it as custom project.
Please Submit ticket on category: OS Property and we will discuss about the job.
Thanks
Dam

Hi,
reading this with interest. Is it possible to allow agents to bulk upload their own properties via the front end? I believe I read somewhere that this was not possible back in a 2014 due to security issues. I wondered whether this has changed? Can this still only be achieved by an Administrator via backend?

Hi Mel,
Unfortunately, the Kyero Import tool doesn't allow user to import XML from front-end side.
Thanks

Hi Dam,
I am after the same as requested by Ashley, did you ever create a custom solution?
I see there are companies out there that offer portal feeds using xml - is it possible to allow uploads automatically using services like that via xml? I know it cannot be done via the front end, how do others get around this?
Kind regards
Mel
