Authorize.net Discontinued TLS 1.0/1.1

1. If you want to test the payment plugin in sandbox mode, you will need to have a sandbox account. You can use our account for testing if needed:

2. In your case, I think you got the error because you are testing it with your live authorize.net account. If you want to test it with your live Authorize.net account, please:

- Set the payment plugin back to Live Mode (so that it uses live API endpoint secure2.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll )
- Configure your Authorize.net account to Test Mode

Then test it again. The error above should not happen again

Excellent! It worked. So I assume this is connecting with TLS 1.2 and that we are all good for the authorize update in February 2018?

We will wait a bit more before updating our extension with this change. The reason is because we are still worry that some server still not ready for TLS 1.2 yet. When we offical update our extensions with this patch, I will inform here
