Plugin with PayPal instalment payments was created by Chris Allen
Hi,
I have a site where users can book onto a course or services, I currently do this through Events Booking and OS Services Booking respectively.
I need to add functionality to the site in which a user will make a purchase for course materials but will then pay in either 1, 2, 5 or 10 instalments. There will be a total of 3 products and depending on which product they purchase they will need different access levels.
Is there a plugin that you have that will allow me to do this. I'm really happy so far with the plugins that I have from you and would like to keep my business here.
It has to be done as instalments and not subscription, because it is a set fee that needs to be paid in total.
Many thanks
Chris

Hello Chris
Membership Pro www.joomdonation.com/joomla-extensions/m...ip-subscription.html would be the right choice for this requirement. You can setup a recurring subscription, choose number of instalments , set price for each instalment and it will work as expected
Purchase the product to try. If you need with setup, I will be available for setting up a sample plan for you. Also, if it doesn't work as expected, you can request us for refund
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks Tuan
Do you have a demo back-end that I could look at before I purchase as it is for a client and I'm sure you understand that I can't justify selling it to them until I know it does what they want it to.
A bit more information... It's not a recurring subscription, but multiple instalment options for three different courses. E.g (figures illustrative only).
Course One:
1 instalment(s) = £2000
2 instalment(s) = £1000
5 instalment(s) = £400
10 instalment(s) = £200
No matter which one they choose they will always have to pay a total of £2000 and can't cancel before that amount has been paid. Payments can't be deferred or suspended and will not automatically renew after the instalments are made. When the payments have finished then they still have access to the members area based on their member type.
Thanks
C.

Hello Chris
We don't give access to backend of demo site because we don't want users to change the demo data which we prepared. However, we do provide money back warranty, so if you want, purchase a copy of the extension to try. If it doesn't work as expected, you can request us for refund
For the payment schema you described, yes, it can be setup using Membership Pro. However, as the payment is registered with payment gateway (for example, PayPal), users can login to their PayPal account and can cancel that recurring payment if they want (that's true for any payment gateways). And we have no way to prevent them from cancelling
So if you want to prevent them from cancelling, it is un-doable

Tuan
