Free Documents and IPN conflict?

Hi,

First of all I am interested in using DMS to manage free downloads.

1) Since the demo does not show one how people can be forced to register or login before download, could you please explain how this would work (work flow). I hope people get direct to the download once they have registered.

2) Is it possible to force people fill out form for free downloads? With paid downloads you ask for details, but I would like certain details also when people request a free download.

3) Does the acajoom plugin work with free downloads?


With regards to PAID documents. In case I have another shopping cart or paid membership subscription component on my site. Is there a solution to the IPN conflict. In other words how do you overcome the problem that each component has its own IPN return URL where Paypal posts its token?

1. You can choose to allow unregiststered or registered free or paid download and you can make any fields required entry if allowing free downloads to unregistered users.

2. Yes you can select which fields are required, but e-mails will not be validated.
